Our OHS policies are clearly defined and documented. In summary, we:

• strive for continuous improvement in our occupational health and safety performance, taking into account evolving management practices and knowledge;


• comply with all applicable laws, regulations and standards and, where standards do not exist, adopt and apply procedures that reflect our commitment to safety and health;


• involve employees and subcontractors in the improvement of safety and health performance, train individual employees and hold all supervisors, employees and contractors accountable for their areas of responsibility for safety and health;


• manage risk by implementing management systems to identify, assess and control hazards in the workplace;


• ensure all our employees, subcontractors and visitors are informed of and understand their obligations with regard to health and safety;


• communicate openly with employees on occupational health and safety issues, and contribute to the development of safety and health policies and procedures;


• promptly and completely investigate, correct and report all accidents, incidents and hazards;


• support employees, supervisors, safety representatives and safety committees in their efforts to maintain and improve safety and health in the workplace, with adequate resources and facilities;


• only engage subcontractors who can demonstrate a safety commitment, which complements our own standards; and


• ensure safety and health in the workplace receives equal priority with all other business activities.
